As musicians we're always looking for ways to find a deeper connection to the music we play, our bandmates, and especially our audience. From touring bands, to Sunday mornings, home studio musicians, and everything in-between, the goal of Home Studio Live is to help you to perform with more freedom and confidence, every time.
Hi, I'm Reese.
I've spent 10+ years on the road as a guitarist and playback tech, running Ableton Live for touring bands and Sunday morning worship teams alike. I started HomeStudioLive because I kept getting the same questions from musicians who wanted to level up their rig but didn't know where to start. This community is everything I wish had existed when I was figuring it out.
Whether you're building your first playback rig, dialing in your guitar tone, or trying to run a tight show with a small team — I'm here to help you get there faster.
Reese knows his stuff and truly cares about your success! Whether it’s fixing a small problem, creating a plan to grow your team, or refining your Ableton templates, he will take the time to help you win! I cannot recommend him enough!
Using technology to help lead my team always felt a bit intimidating. Reese has an incredible way of taking things that seem complex and making them easy to understand and use. He loves what he does and he’s dedicated to helping you succeed!
The biggest thing that you'll notice when working with Reese is how much he cares about what he does, which means he cares about getting you incredible results every time!

My favorite part about running Home Studio Live is teaching guitarists to use Ableton to control their pedalboards with MIDI. The freedom you feel when you're not staring at your feet but actually connecting to your music and audience is the absolute best!
